The team at The Blonska Firm features the best and brightest minds in our unique area of practice, family law. Each of us chose to become a family law attorney because that is the area of law we are most compassionate about. We want to get our client’s what they need and what they deserve according to the law, and we want to help them achieve their goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. It takes a special type of lawyer to help our clients through the difficult stages of a divorce case. That’s what we are here for. That is why all of our clients are referred to us by other lawyers, trusted professionals, and our extended family of former clients.
Firm overview
Jason Blonska started his legal career at Smith & Smith LLP in Santa Ana in 2004. Graduating with honors from law school, Jason knew he wanted to practice family law after clerking for Honorable Roy L. Paul in Los Angeles Superior Court. While clerking for Judge Paul, Jason saw how a family law courtroom worked, and learned what a lawyer needed to do to be prepared to represent his client. From the day Jason started as an associate attorney, he approached every case with the concept, “What do I need to do to convince the judge that my client’s goals are reasonable?” and “How can I get my client the best results as efficiently as possible?’
By 2007, Jason was a partner at the Smith firm, ultimately taking over ownership and managerial responsibilities when his partners, Gary and Elizabeth Smith, retired in 2011. Since that time, Jason has built a reputation as an effective, honest, straightforward attorney that takes the time to explain to his clients how the court system works, what to expect, and how to get to the finish line without losing sight of what is important.
The Blonska firm has always been devoted exclusively to the practice of family law. Over the past several years, our firm has grown to include four attorneys practicing family law. We are proud to have two Certified Family Law Specialists (certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization), a Jeopardy! Finalist, a law school professor, and a Strauss Institute graduate with a Master’s Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
